Each month, we honor one of our Stylitics Ambassadors who has gone above and beyond the call of duty as our Ambassador of the Month. This month’s Featured Ambassador is Denney Pham from Drexel University!  With a dedication to sustainability, as well as a knack for marketing and design, we can’t wait to see where his wide range of interests and strong work ethic take him. Read on to find out why Denney became an Ambassador, what’s on his spring wishlist, and whose closet he would raid:

What made you want to become a Stylitics Ambassador?

When I first heard about Stylitics, it sounded like such a phenomenal idea. As someone who is interested in marketing, analytics, and fashion — I knew I had to be a part of it. Stylitics is an amazing company full of some great people. I have full confidence that it’s going to go even farther and do some big things. To be just a part of that journey, I count myself extremely lucky.

What are your career goals and aspirations?

Gosh, that’s a hard one!  (You’re talking to the guy who was a hair away from pursuing environmental engineering as a career). I suppose my entire life, I’ve always wanted to help improve the quality of life of others. Furthermore, sustainability, biodiversity loss, and other environmental issues are causes that I care deeply about. My ultimate goal and hope is to combine those two passions into something that makes a significant and positive impact.

As someone who is a little obsessed with design along with strategic storytelling, marketing became a clear choice for me. I’d like to work either at an agency or at a socially conscious apparel/ product company when I get out of school. As a student enrolled in Americorps, I can’t say I haven’t dreamed of doing the Peacecorps as well. However, like the fine people at Costco or Trader Joes will tell you, I’m a big fan of sampling anything and everything.

What’s the number one item on your wishlist for Spring?

Wing Tip Oxfords!

If you could raid anyone’s closet, whose would it be?

Without a doubt, it would be Batman/Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s closet.  Crime fighting at night – check! — Stylish secret identity during the day – check!

What’s the best piece of fashion advice you’ve ever received?

It was something along the lines of, “confidence is the best accessory.” Embrace who you are, your quirks, your imperfections, and be proud of them. A common observation that I’ve noticed is that people are often trepidatious to express who they are through their style. They’re afraid of what others might think of them or say about them. Be confident and carry yourself with the respect you deserve; because if you do, nobody can deny that genuine beauty that comes from within (corny, but oh so true).

Thanks so much, Denney, and to all of our Ambassadors for all of your hard work this month!  For more information about the Ambassador Program or to apply, email Annie@stylitics.com
