Things we love: Pairs Streetstyle, Haute Couture, & S'mores

Now that it’s Monday, it’s time to share stories from the weekend. As the fall 2014 haute couture shows come to a close, their head-turning styles live on for all to enjoy. The looks may not be wearable for everyday, but they sure are nice to look at. (Fashionista)

With fall shows coming to a close, it must really be summer. It’s about time to arm yourself with some safe (for you and the environment) bug spray. All natural bug sprays that smell more delicious to humans than bugs? Too good to believe, we know. (Into the Gloss)

Need some short-shorts  inspiration? We love nothing more than the gift of cutoffs: a visual history throughout the years. Anything that displays Paul Rudd’s pins in the same breadth as fashion icon Chloë Sevigny makes us feel complete. (Style)

And if you want to rock a red lip like the aforementioned starlet, you’ve met your match with the new kid in town: Lipcote. Think of it as OkCupid for your lipstick. Looking for a certain opacity, matte finish, or color undertone? Just fill in the details and the website will help you find your perfect match. (Huffington Post)

Speaking of red lipstick, our favorite fashionable Frenchies are celebrating Bastille Day! Join along in the fun by indulging in some French style. Read on for the best advice for sticking your French fashion landing, at the ready from the likes of fashion editor Julia Sarr-Jamois and Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, former Vogue fashion director and renowned stylist. In the face of all things French, we like to kick it back to our good old friend America with an amazing s’mores recipe. This is one time when less is not s’mores. (Love & Lemons)

Because you can’t eat s’mores without a campfire and some beach time fun, you’ll be needing a pair of colorful flip flops. Havaianas are our go-to, and Jules of Sincerely Jules seems to feel the same way in her laid-back look book. Peruse it for some styling ideas and gorgeous beach shots. (Sincerely Jules)

On the other end of the spectrum from California cool, we get the looks from the Paris Couture shows. Even more impressive than the shows themselves was the street style the show-goers were offering up. Gush over the goods with a nice compilation of images from the events. Spoiler: Emma Watson makes an appearance! (Studded Hearts)
